My old best friend has made a lot of new friends and only wants to hang out with me when her new friends can't. also she has started stealing and I'm scared she will get in big trouble. what should I do? -best friend in distress
Dear Best Friend In Distress, i know it stinks when your freinds meet new people but you do have a few options. 1) you could try to join in with the new friends. and trust me i know it can be hard. 2) you could try to have a heart to heart conversation with her (also hard) and if she is truely your best friend she will understand. 3) you could try to make new friends and i know it can be hard but the people you meet now can become some of your best friends later on. as for the stealing i am not so sure what to tell you. if i were you i would try not to go to the mall with her for a while and tell her about all the bad things it can lead up to. i can almost garuntee you she will get caught sooner or later!
